Richard Jerome "Dick" Sanders

Richard Jerome "Dick" Sanders, age 75, resident of Coweta passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Dick was born on July 13, 1943 in Alton, IL to Richard Leo and Florence Margaret (Gress) Sanders. He received his education in Jerseyville, IL. Dick was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Julia Ann (Holste) Sanders on June 17, 1977 in Hardin, IL. Dick worked at Yuba Heat Transfer as a welder until he retired. He was an avid shooter and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Dick is survived by his wife, Julia Sanders of the home in Coweta, OK; one sister, Mary Beth Fox of Hamburg, IL; four nieces, Sandy, Beth, Hannah and Lisa; and numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Richard and one brother, Ronald Sanders. There are no services planned for Dick Sanders.
