Richard Replogle

Richard A. Replogle of Broken Arrow passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. He was 77 years old. Richard was born on April 22, 1929 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to William and Beatrice (Coker) Replogle. He received his education at the Thomas Community School. Richard was employed as a carpenter for Jim Nichols, and also for Cal Johannsen for 25 years. He later worked as a machinist for McKissick Products for 10 years. He retired from Nelson Electric in 1994. Richard was also a member at Thomas Community Church in Broken Arrow. He was known as a great coon hunter and he also liked to deer hunt. Survivors include one uncle, Junior Replogle of Catoosa; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lev Stubbs, five sisters, Cinderella, Rozella, Lealla, Josephine, and Georgie. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Thomas Community Church in Broken Arrow with Rev. Chap Replogle of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church and Rev. Junior Replogle officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Coweta. Pallbearers were Tracy Replogle, Clark Replogle, Little Clark Replogle, Gary Carter, Jr., Ricky Joe Watkins, and Marshall Carter.
