Rhonda Darlene Mccullar

Rhonda Darlene McCullar, age 68, resident of Coweta, departed this life on Sunday morning, March 5, 2023 in Coweta, Oklahoma. Rhonda was born on June 12, 1954 in Checotah, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Ellis Woodrow Acker and Mary Lorene (Cowan) Burns. She was a graduate of Webbers Falls High School, where she played basketball for the Webbers Falls Warriors.

Rhonda held several positions in the Food Service Industry and at one time she was a Manager for the Sonic Drive In, in Checotah. She enjoyed going to flea-markets, watching black and white westerns on television, and football, especially OU and the Dallas Cowboys. Rhonda had a great passion and knowledge for working on automobiles. She was of the Christian faith.

Rhonda is survived by her mom and stepdad, Lorene and Dave Burns of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, three brothers, Randy Acker and his wife Twila of Warner, Oklahoma, Dennis Acker of Porum, Oklahoma, and Kevin Girty and his wife Mary of Pryor, Oklahoma; two sisters, Vickie Johnson of Blair, Nebraska and Kelli Cox of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Many uncles, aunts, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews to mourn her passing.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her father Ellis Acker and newborn son.

Services celebrating Rhonda’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Friday March 10, 2023 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Scott Worley officiating.
