Rhoda Leann Labor

January 1, 1953 — July 19, 2011

Rhoda Leann (McManes) Labor, of Coweta, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 19, 2011 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 10 days. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Rhoda was born on August 9, 1953 in McAlester, OK to her parents, Laurance and Sheila (Cordell) McManes. She and Harold Labor were united in marriage on June 16, 1972 in Krebs, OK. In 2006, she and Harold moved from Bixby, OK to the Coweta area, where they have made their home for the past five years. Rhoda was a homemaker for the past few years of her life. She enjoyed reading, riding motorcycles, watching birds, horses, camping and she loved spending time with her precious grandchildren. Rhoda is lovingly survived by her husband of 39 years, Harold of the home in Coweta, OK; her daughter, Brandi Sallee and her husband, Scott, of Perryville, KY; her father, Laurance McManes of Crowder, OK; her sister, Brenda Harrison of McAlester, OK; her three grandchildren, Afton Labor, Xander Sallee and Carter Sallee; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sheila McManes and her son, Clint Labor. Funeral services for Rhoda will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Eldridge officiating. A private burial will be at Bache Red Oak Cemetery in Bache, OK. Family and friends may sign the guestbook on-line @ www.wrightfh.net.
