Retha Faye Secrest

Retha Faye Secrest, Coweta resident departed this life on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the age of 85. Retha was born on August 5, 1938, in Marion County, Arkansas to parents Art Yocham and Melvina (Fox) Yocham. Retha was raised with her 5 sisters: LaVon Stone, Doris Shieldnight, Joyce McMillian, Charlotte Orman, June Jackson, and her brother; Buck Yocham.

On December 27, 1956, in Coweta, Oklahoma, Retha was united in marriage to George “Sonny” Lee Secrest. Together they shared 46 years of marriage and raised 4 children: Keith Secrest, Ronny Secrest, Donny Secrest, and Teresa Griggs. She loved and enjoyed her time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
