Rebecca Jo "Becky" Tabor

Rebecca Jo "Becky" Tabor, age 63, of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Becky was born on December 21, 1953 to Alfred Louis and Verna (Conley) Van Tuyl in Wagoner, OK. She was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, OK. In 1976, Becky and Michael Cohen Tabor were united in marriage in Tulsa, OK. She devoted much time and energy as a caregiver to her family and friends over the past 10 years. Becky was a member of Abundant Rain Ministries in Coweta. She enjoyed cooking and baking pies, interior decorating, working outside in the landscaping, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Becky was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Judith Ann. Becky is survived by her husband, Mike Tabor of the home in Coweta, OK; 5 sons, Aaron Tabor and wife, Jessy of Ardmore, OK, Jesse Tabor of Tulsa, OK, Jacob Groome of Charlotte, NC, Cody Tabor of Coweta, OK and Dylan Tabor of Coweta, OK; 1 brother, Charles Van Tuyl and wife, Kim of Tulsa, OK; 2 sisters, Patty Van Tuyl of Tulsa, OK and Margaret Hartshorn of Coweta, OK; 3 grandchildren, Lilly Tabor, Scott Tabor and Guius Groome; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Becky's life will be at 2 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Abundant Rain Ministries in Coweta, OK with Pastor Ron Spradlin officiating.
