August 13, 2011 Rebecca E. "Billie" Simms, daughter of Claude and Laura (Mabry) Brown, was born May 25, 1931 in Bixby, OK and entered eternal life July 9, 2010 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 14 days. She was a Forwarding Agent for Burma Christian Mission for many years. She enjoyed volunteering at church, reading and spending time with family and friends. She was a charter member of Northside Christian Church in Broken Arrow, OK. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Laura Brown; husband Clyde Simms; 3 sisters: Lorine and Juanita Gregg and Lila Brown; 3 brothers: Charlie Gregg, Buster and Jack Brown. Billie is survived by a very loving family that includes her son Tony Simms and wife Zina of Broken Arrow; 4 grandchildren: Stephen Simms and wife Karen, Jennifer Earle, Amy Spencer and husband Jason, all of Broken Arrow, Kyle Edwards and wife Terra of Washington, DC. Other relatives and many friends also survive her. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Burma Christian Missions. Viewing: 12-8PM Monday, July 12;
