Raymond Leroy DeShazer, age 71, of Coweta passed from this life on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at his home. Raymond was born on November 28, 1936 in Rexford, Montana to Olen and Edna (Smith) DeShazer. He received his education and graduated from high school in Montana. He then attended college for two years. Raymond and Mary Ann Kennedy were united in marriage on September 16, 1984 in Reno, Nevada. Raymond was a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy for 20 years. He also worked as a supervisor for A T & T for ten years and as a bus driver for Eureka, Montana for nine years. He was a member of the County Line Baptist Church. He was a loving, giving, and caring man. His hobbies included reading, doing projects around the house, fishing, hunting, and watching television. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of the home; one son, Raymond DeShazer of California; two daughters, Edna DeShazer of California and Debbie Murry of Idaho; three brothers, Robert DeShazer of Eureka, Montana, Bill DeShazer and Dan DeShazer both of Libby, Montana; one sister, Shirley Staraley of Libby, Montana; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary DeShazer. A memorial service was held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta with Reverend David Jones officiating.
