Raymond Lee Cummins

Raymond Lee "Buster" Cummins, 88, of Tulsa peacefully entered eternal rest on March 18, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on April 1, 1926 to Bertie Washington and Bertha Viola Cummins (Lee) in Inola, OK. When Raymond was a teenager he worked combining hay and would walk from farm to farm doing so. He proudly served as a tank commander and instructor in the United States Army during the Korean War. Later, Raymond moved on to a career as a Master Plumber and Building Inspector for the City of Tulsa before retiring after 30 years of service. Raymond was married on May 20, 1950 to the love of his life Ora Lee Mitchell in Tahlequah, OK. To this union, two children were born, Raymond Larry Cummins and Steven Michael Cummins. Raymond enjoyed serving as a deacon of the church, hunting, basketball, baseball, playing the guitar and harmonica, carpentry, woodworking, gardening and feeding the birds. Above all, Raymond was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children, grand children and great grand children. Preceded in death by his wife: Ora Lee; brothers: Hun Cummins and Donald Cummins;
sisters: Helma Mootry, Elsie Stout and Louise Riddle. Raymond is survived by his children, Raymond Larry (Susan) Cummins and Steven Michael (Ginger) Cummins; grandson:
Chris (Crystal) Cummins; great grandchildren: Marley and Daisy Cummins; brother:
