Ralph Eugene Cullum

Ralph Eugene Cullum, Coweta resident, passed away peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the age of 77. Ralph was born on April 10, 1947, in Selma, California, to parents Elmer Cullum and Ollie Sarah (Henson) Cullum. Ralph's lifetime was marked by dedication to his country, profession, and family.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant from 1967 to 1971, which included a tour in Vietnam. His patriotism was further exemplified by his work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Edwards Air Force Base, California, where his expertise as an electrical technician was invaluable until his retirement. He exhibited the loving spirit of God in the way he treated his family members and others. Never having his own children, Ralph was a faithful supporter to St. Jude’s and other children’s charities. But most important was his kindness and love shown to his mother, siblings, and nephews when they needed encouragement and support.

Predeceased by his father Elmer Cullum, sister Retha Frizzell, and brother Danny Cullum, Ralph's memory will be cherished by his surviving mother Ollie Sarah Henson, Ollie’s sister Elizabeth, nephews Michael Cullum, Rodney Cullum, Jeff Frizzell and wife Marlene, and Joey Amendola, great nephews Aiden Smith, Taylor Frizzell, and Brandon Frizzell, and great nieces Faith Frizzell, and Oliva Amendola. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his lasting spirit will remain a beacon of strength and honor.

A private family interment will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
