Rachel Martin

Rachel Marie Martin, age 28, resident of Claremore, OK departed this life on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Claremore Regional Hospital in Claremore, OK. She was born on January 17, 1982 in Muskogee, OK to Larry Lamb and Nancy (Welch) Burk. Rachel was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, and sister to her family. She was raised in Porter, OK and attended Porter Schools. Rachel and Steve Martin were united in marriage on May 30, 2008 in Claremore, OK. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Rachel was a member at the Kingdom Life Community Church in Porter, OK. Her hobbies included gardening, fishing, music, and she loved spending time with her family. Rachel is lovingly survived by her husband, Steve of the home; her son, Steven Leonard Avery Martin of the home; her daughter, Aaron Nicole Martin of the home; her father, Larry Lamb of Coweta, OK; her mother, Nancy Burk of Claremore, OK; her sisters, Vanessa Leann Lamb of Tulsa, OK and Shannon Wiley of Wagoner, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services for Rachel will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Kingdom Life Community Church, 130 N. Main Street, Porter, OK 74454. Pastor Lloyd Willhite will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, OK.
