Phillip Edward White

April 9, 2013 Phillip Edward White was born November 10, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Cecil and Edyth (Phillips) White. He grew up in the Broken Arrow and Tulsa areas, attending Lynn Lane school and Tulsa Central High School. Phil married Joan Williams in 1953. Before their marriage ended they had three children-Terri, Buck, and Tom. Since he was able to do so many things, Phil had many business pursuits. He had his own welding company, owned an electric company with his brother, and helped run Catoosa Flowers, all while working as a welder for over 20 years at American Airlines. After retiring from American, he moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. There he met and married Helena Balcerzak. After leaving Arkansas, he bought and worked a farm in Oaks, Oklahoma. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Edyth White, his brother Edwin Maurice White, and brother-in-law John Balcerzak. He is survived by his wife, Helena of the home, brother Don White, sister Sarah Murphy, daughter Terri Miller and husband Mike, sons: Buck White and wife Pam, Tom White and wife Jacki, grandchildren: Tim Shuck, Jessica Mitchell, Justin White, Jentri White, Zackary White, and Haiden White, great grandchildren: Adam Shuck, Tinsley Mitchell, Sydnee White and Kamryn White, and special cousin, Leon Breiger. He also had an infinite number of extended family and friends. Visitation is scheduled Tuesday, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 10AM-7PM at Kennedy-Kennard in Catoosa. Service to be held Thursday, April 11, 2013, 2PM at First Baptist Church in Catoosa, interment immediately following at Dick Duck Cemetery in Catoosa.
