Phillip D. Brown, also known as “Phil”, age 75, resident of Broken Arrow entered into the Gates of Heaven on Saturday evening, March 25, 2023 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Phil was born on September 26, 1947 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Robert Brown, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth (Dyer) Brown.  He was a graduate of Valley High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Phil was a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He enlisted in the Army on June 23, 1969 and was honorably discharged on January 6, 1971.  Phil owned Beeline Furniture and After Hours Marina in Coweta for 34 years until he retired in 2022.  He and Carol R. (Turner) Brown were married on March 8, 2019.  Phil was a member of the Coweta Assembly Church.  He enjoyed traveling and watching football and NASCAR.

Phil is survived by his wife, Carol Brown of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four children, Angela Goodman and husband Travis of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Adam Brown and wife Melissa of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lisa Brown of Oklahoma, and Rondell Brown of Coweta, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; his sister, Ruth Ann Will and husband Duane of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Phil was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Brown, his parents, Robert Lee Brown, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth Brown, and his brothers, Robert Brown, James Brown, and Jerry Brown.

A memorial service celebrating Phil’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Coweta Assembly in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Steve Lee officiating.
