Paul Jackson, age 62, of Coweta passed from this life on Friday morning, May 29, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 9, 1946 in Coweta to Clarence and Maude (Ward) Jackson. Paul was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather to his family. He attended school in the Coweta school system and graduated from Coweta High School in 1966. He also attended Tulsa Community College. Paul enlisted in the United States Army on July 14, 1966 and was honorably discharged on June 25, 1968. He owned and operated Brand Export Packing. Paul and Mary Gibson were united in marriage on January 14, 1983 in Coweta, OK. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. Paul was preceded in death by his parents. Paul is lovingly survived by his wife, Mary of the home; his three daughters, Dana Weaver of Broken Arrow, OK, Jan Brooks and her husband, Todd, of Broken Arrow, OK, and Krista Cortez and her husband, Tony, of Coweta, OK; his three brothers, Troy Jackson and his wife, B.J, of Prattville, OK, C.J. Jackson of Tulsa, OK, and Doug Jackson and his wife, Dyana, of Coweta, OK; his two sisters, Lilly Cox and her husband, Jerry, of Claremore, OK and Dorothy Furman and her husband, Don, of Council Grove, KS; one grandson, Tyler Brooks and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Abundant Life Church in Wagoner, OK with Rev. Mike Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429 (918) 486-5515. Casket Bearers will be Stan Hewitt, Sam Kammerzell, Kevin Shoemaker, Doug Foster, Ed Cerar, and Warren Price. Honorary Casket Bearer is Horace Rogers.
