Patricia “Pat” M. Sanders, age 82, longtime Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022 at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pat was born on June 26, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Louis and Virginia (Richardson) Reeves. She was a 1957 graduate of Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating, she went on to attend beauty college. Pat married the love of her life, Dwain Sanders on December 31, 1960. She worked at Mylon C. Jacobs Supply Company in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as a bookkeeper for 20 years. Pat was a member of the New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her husband, Dwain Sanders of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; four children, Gary Sanders and his wife Sharnell of Coweta, Oklahoma, Vickie Middleton and her husband Joey of Coweta, Oklahoma, Bubba Sanders and his fiancé Lisa of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Lea Ann Brown and her husband Matt of Coweta, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Jessica Schell and her husband George, Samantha Van Tuyl and her husband Rodney, David Bigger and his wife Chasity, Ricky Bigger and his wife Aubrey, Keith Obney and his wife Nicole, Lori Berry and her husband Keith, and AJ Brown and his wife Lindsay; three step grandchildren, Scott Christy and his wife Rebecca, Shannon Lucas and her husband Chad, and Kourtney Middleton; eighteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Virginia Reeves; her son, Mike Sanders; her brothers, Don Reeves and George Reeves; and her sister, Kay Robinson.
A memorial service celebrating Pat’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Roger McDougal officiating.
