Pamela Louise “Pam” Holmes, age 74, resident of Porter, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her residence in Porter, Oklahoma. Pam was born January 6, 1947 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Clyde Harold and Reba (Geren) Brown. She married the love of her life, Harvey Holmes on May 10, 1985. Pam loved making a home and taking care of everyone. She looked forward to preparing holiday meals and planning special occasions for all. Pam enjoyed gardening, feeding the hummingbirds, all wildlife and especially her dog, Pixie.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Harvey Holmes of the home in Porter, Oklahoma; two sons, Curtis “Buddy” Williams and his wife Chrystal of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Jimmy Holmes and his wife Jennifer of Coweta, Oklahoma; one daughter, Karen Holmes and her husband Chris Vandiver of Coweta, Oklahoma; her son-in-law, David House of Claremore, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Nicholas Holmes, Samantha Smart, Jeffery Howard, Cherra Bernal, and Camryn Williams; her great grandson, Noah Smart; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Harold and Reba Brown, her daughter, Rhonda House, and her brother, Gary Brown.
Viewing will be from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 with the family present from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Services celebrating Pam’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma with Tony Holmes officiating. Pam will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, Oklahoma.
