Pamela H. Cantrell

Pamela H. "Pam" Cantrell, age 64, of Broken Arrow passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born on February 25, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to A. Lester Martin, Jr. and Sarah Ann Texter. In 1965, Pam graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, OK. After graduating from high school, she attended Tulsa Business College for 1 ½ years. Pam was a barber at Martin's Barber Shop in Broken Arrow for 20 years. She and James S. Cantrell were married on April 1, 1994 in Miami, OK. Pam was a member of the Broken Arrow Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and helping people. Pam is survived by her husband, James Cantrell of Broken Arrow, OK; her son, Jasper Cantrell of Broken Arrow, OK; her daughters, Peggy Sue Hurt and her husband, John and Cindy Lynn Cantrell, all of Broken Arrow, OK; her brothers, Lester A. Martin of San Francisco, CA and Tony Martin of Tulsa, OK; her sisters, Cindy Lou Sparkman and her husband, Mike and Kimberly Martin, all of Broken Arrow, OK; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; other relatives and a host of friends. Pam was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Broken Arrow Church of the Nazarene, 401 W. New Orleans, Broken Arrow, OK. Rev. Larry Morris will officiate the service with burial following at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Friends may send condolences to the family online at www.wrightfh.net.
