Ovella Jared

Ovella Jones Jared was born June 15, 1929 in Ada, Oklahoma - the daughter of Bert and Jewel Jones. She departed this life at home on Saturday evening, December 27, 2014, being 85 years, 6 months and 12 days of age. She graduated from Ada High School in 1947 and later at the Church Bible Training Institute. After dating for a year and a half, she and Clive Jared were united in Holy Matrimony on July 6, 1947 at The Church of God in Allen, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Ada area for 3 years. That is where their ministry began and continued in many areas of the United States and some foreign countries. One of their greatest blessings in their ministry was here in Coweta for 8 years. Clive and Ovella were blessed with 3 daughters - Adana Kaye, Debra Ann, and Karron Lynn. She is survived by her husband, Clive Jared of Coweta; her three daughters - Adana Pense and husband, Wayne of Broken Arrow, Debbie Stone and husband, Terry of Tahlequah, and Karron Stone and husband, Jerry of Coweta; her 5 grandchildren - Devin Pense and wife, Michelle of Los Angeles, CA, Brian Pense and wife, Dixie of Broken Arrow, Tiffany Richter and husband, John of Cullman, AL, Jared Stone and wife, Amanda of Broken Arrow, and Brad Stone and wife, Stephannie of Coweta; her 13 great-grandchildren - Jorden, Casey, Madison, Tyler, Olivia, Rylee, Jaxon, Vivianne Ovella, Dawson, John Isaac, Kolten, Presley, and Aubree; 3 sisters - Juan Cooley and husband, Don of Ada, Deloris Vanlandingham of Oklahoma City, and Bertie Frantz and husband, Bob of Moore, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents - Bert and Jewel Jones, 2 brothers - Burl and Odell Jones. The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy. Funeral services celebrating Ovella's life will be at 11 AM on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK with Bishop DeWayne Smith and Pastor Anthony Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Devin Pense, Brian Pense, Jared Stone, Brad Stone, John Richter, Eddie McKenzie, Jorden Pense and Casey Pense.
