Norma Tripp

Norma "Dee" Tripp, age 79, of Coweta passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on December 25, 1929 in Eureka, Kansas to George and Mildred (Hurlock) Bellinger. Dee was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She graduated from high school in Iola, Kansas in 1947. Dee was a self-employed accountant and owned and operated several businesses. In 1982, she and Phillip Tripp were united in marriage in December of 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2006, Dee moved to Coweta, Oklahoma from Rimrock, Arizona. Dee enjoyed dancing, spending time with her family and she loved her dog, "Little Bit". Dee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one granddaughter. Dee is lovingly survived by two sons, Chad Robbins of Coweta, Oklahoma and Hoss Robbins of Buckeye, Arizona; two daughters, Karla Grewing of Wichita, Kansas and Shawn Buck of Coweta, Oklahoma; one step-son, Blaine Tripp of Phoenix, Arizona; one step-daughter, Teri Ann Taylor of Parker, Colorado; one brother, Michael Bellinger of Layton, Utah; two sisters, Jennie Tyhurst of Congress, Arizona and Patty Ann Lopez of San Jacinto, California; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the First Assembly of God in Coweta with Pastor Gary Rogers officiating.
