Norma Louise Shockley, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Saint Francis South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the matriarch of the family and loved us all deeply. Norma was born on September 10, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Louis Robert Purdom and Lucille Bunnell Purdom. She married on September 23, 1956 to Don Olen Shockley Sr. and divorced in 1977. From her marriage she is survived by her 4 children: Lynda Booker, Lorie King and husband Rick King, Don Shockley Jr., Lisa Harrell and husband Harold Harrell, grandchildren: Jennifer Glover, Jessica Clayton, Angel Stowe, Anna King, Ricky King, Andrea Harrell, and Brandi Harrell, great grandchildren: Kaylee, Keegan, Jacob, Katherine, and Quinn. Two cherished pets, Skittles and Thor. She graduated in 1956 from Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She started her early work career at Trippets shoe store and later retired from Seiscor Technologies/Raytheon as a silk screener. She enjoyed watching Nascar, OU Football Games, and her soap operas. She is survived by her siblings, Oren Farriel, Betty Illingsworth, and Jean Ann McAlister. She was preceded in death by her father Louis Robert Purdom Sr., mother, Lucille Bunnell Purdom, and her brother Louis Robert Purdom Jr. The family will be holding a private memorial.
