Niles R. Bosin, age 67, current resident of Coweta, OK but past long-time resident of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Niles was born in 1944 in Lawton, OK to Francis Blackbear Bosin and Ruth Johnson Jones. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a war veteran of the Vietnam War. On July 18, 2009, Niles married Lorraine Hilderbrand. His most favorite thing was his gourd dancing at the various powwows in and around Oklahoma. He held the New Year's Eve Sobriety Powwow in Tulsa for 11 years. Niles is lovingly survived by his wife, Lorraine; one sister, Rowena Coley; one brother, Roger Jones; his three daughters, Melissa Simms, Teresa Edwards, and Crystal Pewaush; his son, Monty Bosin; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Niles was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Francis "Butch" Bosin, Jr., and sister, Patricia Twins. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
