Nick was born on February 21, 1953 to Emilio and Paula (Vela) Dillingham in Kingsville, TX. He worked as a Derrickhand in the Oil industry. He was preceded in death by his parents. Nick is survived by 1 daughter, Ria Averrios; 2 brothers, Jesse Castillo and Jack Dillingham; 3 sisters, Elida Croghan, Ester Vela and Norma Cox; 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
