Nevah M. Yocham-Foster

Nevah M. Yocham-Foster, age 90, Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday afternoon, October 18, 2019 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. Nevah was born on July 18, 1929 in Haskell, OK and was the daughter of Bert and Clara (Treadway) Yocham. After Nevah graduated high school, she continued her education to become a licensed beautician, and then at the age of 65 she went back to college at Oklahoma University where she received her degree in Art. Nevah married the love of her life, Cecil Foster in July 1946 in Muskogee, OK. Nevah was a beauty operator for many years. She was an artist and was a very gifted and talented painter. Nevah was a member of the Church of Christ in Coweta. Nevah was known for her loving heart, beautiful smile, and doing whatever she could to help others. She was loved by everyone and will forever live on in our hearts. Nevah is survived by her son Kenneth Foster of Coweta, OK; 5 grandchildren, Craig Foster, Jenny Foster, Morris Foster, Kelly Foster Jr., and Brady Shea Foster; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Nevah was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Foster in 2008; her parents, Bert and Clara Yocham; and her son, Dale Eugene Foster. Services celebrating Nevah's life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Church of Christ in Coweta, OK with Keno Shrum officiating.
