Myra Duffell

Myra Virginia "Dinny" Duffell of Coweta, OK departed this life on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She was born on June 30, 1938 in Tulsa, OK to Luther and Ora (Staley) Kemp. Dinny was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother to her family. She received her education in the Tulsa school system and graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1956. Dinny and Bob Duffell were united in marriage on December 28, 1956 in Tulsa, OK. She was a past member of the Shriner Bowling League and the Ladies Oriental Shrine. She also bowled with the Broken Arrow Senior Citizen's Bowling League. Her hobbies included bowling, fishing, and camping. Dinny was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and two brothers. Dinny is survived by one son, Robert Duffell, Jr. of Stone Bluff, OK; her two daughters, Jamie Flores and her husband, Devian, of Coweta, OK and Julie Orcutt and her husband, Ron, of Stone Bluff, OK; two brothers, Perry Kemp of Jenks, OK and Joe Kemp of Oklahoma City, OK; four grandchildren, Dustin Flores, Mason Flores, Lincoln Orcutt, and Tyler Orcutt; her mother-in-law, Mary Duffell of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. David Jones officiating.
