Morgan Lee Blair

Morgan Lee Blair, age 93, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma entered into Heaven’s Gates on the morning of Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Morgan was born on December 11, 1927 in Checotah, Oklahoma to George and Alma (Denney) Blair.  He was a 1945 graduate of Coweta High School.  He married the love of his life, Wanda Jean Secrest on August 23, 1950.  Morgan owned and operated his own trucking company for many years.  He was a member of the Broken Arrow Church of Christ.  Morgan enjoyed fishing, hunting quail, and playing dominoes.

Morgan is survived by his wife of 71 years, Wanda Jean Blair of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his two children, Shirley Adams of Conroe, Texas and David Blair of Jones, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Derek Adams, Richard Adams, and Christopher Adams; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alma Blair, and his sister, Doris Howard.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Morgan’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Broken Arrow Church of Christ in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Tim Pyles officiating.  Morgan will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
