Minnie Lucile Sadler, lovingly known as Lucile, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Monday evening, June 19, 2023, at the Broken Arrow Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 99 years. She was born on April 24, 1924, in Round Lake, Florida. Lucile lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends.

Lucile was born to Wiley Benjamin and Nora Melissa (Sowell) McAdams and grew up alongside her brothers, Howard, Wiley, George, and James. She married the love of her life, Jeffie Lee Sadler, and together they built a beautiful life until his passing in 2008.

Lucile dedicated many years of her life to serving others, working as a cafeteria worker for the Highland County School System in Sebring, Florida until her retirement. She was a proud member of Crosspoint Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma and was deeply committed to her faith. Throughout her life, Lucile lived in Sebring, Florida, retiring to the Florida Panhandle for many years, before moving to Coweta, Oklahoma, in 2017.

A talented and creative woman, Lucile enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cooking, often sharing her creations with her loved ones. She was an avid reader, particularly of her Bible, which provided her with great comfort and guidance. Above all, Lucile cherished the time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Lucile is survived by her son, Timothy Sadler and wife Sue of Coweta, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kristen Anthony and husband Reggie of Andover, Kansas, and Jeffrey Sadler and wife Mimi of Aurora, Colorado; six great-grandchildren, Maddi Amekporfor, Aiyana Anthony, Ivan Aragon, Eva Aragon, Amy Lu' Sadler, and Josiah Sadler; her brothers, George Olin McAdams and James Elwood McAdams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Lucile was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffie Lee Sadler, her parents, Wiley Benjamin and Nora Melissa McAdams, her son, Jeffery Wayne Sadler, her granddaughter, Amy Renee Sadler, and her brothers, Howard Glen McAdams and Wiley B. McAdams.

A memorial service celebrating Lucile's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Jack Jacob officiating.
