Minnie Bell Pool

January 8, 1919 — August 13, 2011

August 13, 2011 Minnie Bell Pool of Broken Arrow, 90, entered eternal life October 29, 2009 at her home. She was born January 8, 1919 in Caney, KS to Simeon Smith and Minnie Glorina (Hall) Noe. Minnie married Odean Pool and together they created a beautiful family. She was a wonderful homemaker enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, making jelly, quilting and embroidery. A Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years, she was a member of The Assembly at Broken Arrow. In addition to her husband, Minnie was preceded in death by her daughters: Grace Holloway and Sharon Cleland; grandson Nathan Holloway; sisters: Francis Jenkins and Emma Denton; and brother George Noe. She is survived by her loving daughter Nancy Long and her husband Earl; sons: Phillip Pool and his wife Claudette, David Pool and his wife Eva, all of Coweta; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and one on the way; sisters: Marie Garoutte of Coweta and Jean Sutton of Broken Arrow; brother Ralph Noe and his wife Linda of Catoosa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service: 2PM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at The Assembly at Broken Arrow, 3500 W. New Orleans St., Broken Arrow, OK 74011; interment: Vernon Cemetery in Coweta.
