Michael "Mike" Earl Loyd

Michael Earl Loyd, age 66, earned his Angel Wings, peacefully, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.  Mike was born in Tulsa on January 19, 1957, to Earl Lester Loyd and Doshie Mae Chandler.

Around the age of 5, the family moved to Coweta, OK where he attended school until his sophomore year.  He then transferred to East Central High School where his mom was the Librarian, he graduated in 1975.

Mike spent most of his life after high school living and working in Tulsa, where he spent 25+ years in the automobile industry as a salesman and Sales Manager.  In 2007, Mike switched gears and worked the next 9+ years as a Right of Way Agent, before he retired in 2016.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Earl Lester Loyd, his mother, Doshie Mae (Troglin) Chandler, and his grandson Kenwerd Alan Hagans.

Mike’s is survived by his wife, Dena, of the home, his daughter, Jessica & Cory Hagans of Tulsa, his son, Michael & Chelsea of Coweta, his son Chris & Carrie of Broken Arrow, and is favorite Grandkids: Olivia, Beau, Rozlyn & Rylee.

A Celebration of Life for Michael Earl Loyd will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 206 W. Sycamore Street in Coweta, OK.
