Michael James "Mike" Moore

Michael James "Mike" Moore, age 65, resident of Broken Arrow passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Ambassador Manor Nursing Center in Tulsa, OK. Mike was born on December 19, 1952 in Coweta, OK and was the son of Charles Clarence and Wanda Lee (Butler) Moore. He was a 1971 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He enlisted in the Air Force on September 23, 1971 and was honorably discharged on October 6, 1974. He worked as a bookkeeper at Avis Car Rental. Mike enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was a fan of Star Trek. He loved spending time with his dog, Gretchen. Mike was survived by his mother, Wanda Lee Moore and she was reunited with him on March 8, 2019. He is also survived by his sister, Marcy Buchanan of Broken Arrow, OK; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Charles Clarence Moore; one brother, Clarence Lee Moore; and one nephew. Services celebrating Mike's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
