Michael Allen Cypert

Michael Allen Cypert, also known as "Mike", age 68, Coweta resident departed this life Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2020 at St. John Hospital in Broken Arrow, OK. Mike was born August 11, 1951 in Coweta, OK and was the son of Eugene Augustine and Evelyn (Goodman) Cypert. Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1970 - 1972. Mike worked at the City of Coweta in the Streets Department for many years. In 1999, he married the love of his life, Lorene Dorthene Whitener in Broken Arrow, OK. Mike enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, watching westerns, and playing games on the computer. Mike loved giving Lorene a hard time, he loved his dog, and he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him dearly. Mike is survived by his wife, Lorene Cypert; 4 children, Tonia Hale and husband Timmie, Robert Cypert and wife Tabitha, Frank Cypert and wife Amanda, and Marion Cypert; 11 grandchildren, Riley Williams, Elizabeth Watson, Dale Watson III, Spencer Cypert, Brittany Roe, Makayla Seeley, Abbigail Cypert, Lexi Cypert, Jayda Cypert, Jarred Hernan, and Attisyn Cypert; his brother, Steve Cypert; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, of Eugene Augustine and Evelyn Cypert; two brothers, Eddie and David; and two sisters, Linda and Della. Services for Mike will be held at a later date. Mike will be laid to rest at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
