Mary Gail Coday

Mary Gail Coday, age 82, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, June 1, 2022 at the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.  Mary Gail was born on January 24, 1940 in Coweta, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Florene (Graham) Allen.  She was a 1958 graduate of Coweta High School.  Mary Gail married the love of her life William “Bill” C. Coday on February 29, 1964 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  She was a bank teller at the First National Bank of Coweta for 18 years.  Mary Gail enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling, and she loved spending time with her family.

Mary Gail is survived by her husband, Bill Coday of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; three children, Sherry Henson of Coweta, Oklahoma, Billie Kivela of Burleson, Texas, and Kelly Coday of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Joshua Henson, Justin Henson, Chelsie Simmons, Robert Henson, Shawndra Davis, Tyler Coday, Brody Coday, and Kolby Coday; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Mike Allen and his wife Cheryl of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one niece, Kaitlin Allen; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Mary Gail was preceded in death by her mother, Florene Allen and her son, Jack Coday.

There will be a private family service held for Mary Gail.
