Mary Robertson

Mary M. Robertson, long-time resident of Broken Arrow, OK, age 69, a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, passed away Saturday morning, March 23, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Mary was born on November 14, 1943 in Drumright, OK and was the daughter of Wallace and Hazel (Thigpen) Hallman. Mary was a 1962 graduate of Drumright High School in Drumright, OK. Mary and Ray Robertson were united in marriage on October 10, 1961 in Drumright, OK. Mary worked as a secretary at State Farm Insurance for 27 years until she retired in 2006. She was currently working as a florist at Coweta Floral Designs. Mary was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, sewing, decorating and she loved being with her grandkids and great grandkids. Mary is lovingly survived by her husband of 51 years, Ray Robertson of the home; her 2 daughters, Kim Ladd and husband, Jimmy, of Keota, OK and Sheryl Renshaw and husband, Robby, of Coweta, OK; 3 sisters, Jean Sparks and husband, Doug, of Cleveland, OK, Donna Jean Mercer and husband, Jack, of Miami, OK and Margie McPhail and husband, Dennis, of Edmond, OK; 2 brothers, Jerry Hallman and wife, Beverly, of Drumright, OK and Wallace Hallman and wife, Susan, of Drumright, OK; 5 grandchildren, Billy Ladd, Dwan Paslay, Brittany Conner, Brandi Renshaw and Cody "G-Hop" Renshaw; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, March 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services for Mary are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Sunnyside Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Rev. Roland Whitehurst officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Billy Ladd, Cody "G-Hop" Renshaw, Cody Conner, Travis Jay, Curtis Paslay and Tony Kifer. Honorary Pallbearers are Ron Curtis, Stephen Mills, Chris Lofton, Tony Silva, Jack Whipple and Neal Boston. The family of Mary M.
