Mary Jo O'Brien

Mary Jo O'Brien, age 83, of Haskell, OK passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. Jo was born on June 16, 1930 in Tulsa, OK and was the daughter of Joseph Grant and Orpha (Price) Harrel. She was a graduate of Union High School in Tulsa. Jo enjoyed horses. She was a member of Garnett Church of Christ in Tulsa. Jo is survived by 5 children, Jana Gourly of Odessa, TX, Mark Rushmore & wife, Pam, of Haskell, OK, Alice Rushmore of Stillwater, OK, James O'Brien & wife, Tammy, of Norfolk, VA and Julie Newberry & husband, Jack, of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rushmore, her parents and 1 grandchild. There will be a Private Family Service held for Jo.
