Mary Crisp Hurst, age 78, resident of Broken Arrow, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, January 5, 2020 surrounded by her family. Mary was born August 4, 1941 in Ponca City, OK and was the daughter of Charles Glenn Crisp and Izola Madeline (Simmons) Crisp. She married Donald Ray Hurst on January 26, 1996. After 17 years of service in the Financial Department of Rockwell International. She retired to complete her life-long dream of visiting each state in the United States. While accomplishing this she spent time with her favorite people, her family. She enjoyed going to and having garage sales and selling her crafts especially at chili cookoffs. Mary loved life & her family. She donated her body for research to the University of Oklahoma Medical Research Center, and in lieu of flowers asks for donations to the National Kidney Foundation. She is survived by her husband, Donald Hurst, daughter, Maria Nichols, sister-in-law, Dorothy Crisp, nephew, William Eugene Crisp, Jr. (Dub), and niece, Pamela Louise Crisp Williams of Arizona, and many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, William Eugene Crisp of Arizona.
