Martin Douglas Miller, age 63 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on December 22, 2021 with his loving wife Kerry by his side. Doug was born on February 24, 1958 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Carl and Lavelle (Martin) Miller. Doug attended Coweta Public School and graduated in 1977. He was very athletic and was active in football, wrestling, and track. Doug was a very likable loving person. He was kindhearted and a giving individual. Doug enjoyed watching football, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved his family. He had a beautiful smile; and will be forever in our hearts.
Doug is survived by his wife, Kerry Miller of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his 3 daughters, Melanie Potter and her husband, Joe of Nipomo, California, Jessica Lee of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Audrey Grissinger and her husband, Michael of Jacksonville, Florida; his 3 sisters, Fostine Buckner of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Donna Young of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Carol Phillips and her husband Mike Phillips of Coweta, Oklahoma; his four grandchildren, Trenton, Nate, Treyson, and Sebastian; a special nephew Carl Wayne Fields, who was like a brother to him; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lavelle Miller, his brother James Carl “JC” Miller, and his sister, Mary Jo Foster.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Services celebrating Doug’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating. Doug will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
