Marshall Carter

Marshall Robert Carter, age 26, of Coweta passed away on Sunday morning, November 27, 2011 after a tragic accident that happened in Coweta, OK. Marshall was born on March 22, 1985 in Tulsa, OK and was the son of Gary Wayne Carter Sr. and Annette Marie Pridmore. He was a 2003 graduate of Coweta High School. Marshall enjoyed working on the farm and trucking. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and rodeos. Marshall was a Special Olympics power lifter and was known for his story telling. He will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones and friends. Marshall is lovingly survived by his parents, Gary Wayne and Brenda Carter of Coweta, OK; one brother, G.W. Carter of Broken Arrow, OK; three sisters, Christina Bayouth of Wichita, KS, DeAnna Marie Bayouth of Claremore, OK and Toni Toddish of Vanceburg, KY; his paternal grandmothers, Bea Rose of Catoosa, OK and Norma Carter of Coweta, OK; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Tona Pridmore of Tulsa, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Marshall was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Pridmore, his two paternal grandfathers, William Frank Carter and James Rose and one uncle. A memorial service for Marshall will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. J.W. Flowers officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Matt Holmes, Chad Treat, Travis Jay, Bucket Thomas, Michael Hermesch and G.W. Carter. The family of Marshall Carter entrusted his cremation and service to Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home, 210 S. Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429, 918-486-5515.
