Marlan Dean Tichota

Marlan Dean Tichota, age 69, resident of Porter passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Claremore Veterans Center in Claremore, OK. Marlan was born on September 26, 1948 in Lincoln, NE to James Randolf and Mabel (Ahlman) Tichota. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, NE. He was also a graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics. Marlan was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1967 to 1970. He married the love of his life, Donna Mae (Thompson) Tichota on October 8, 1976 in Grand Island, NE. Marlan worked at McDonnell Douglas as an Inspector and retired from LaFerry's Propane Company as a Propane Installer. He enjoyed building and working on muscle cars and working with horses. Marlan was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mabel Tichota. Marlan is survived by his wife, Donna Tichota; 1 daughter, Pamela Abel and husband, Troy of Claremore, OK; 3 sons, Kevin Bruhn and wife, Barbara of Coweta, OK, David Bruhn of Coweta, OK and Adam Eller of Sunbury, GA; 3 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; 2 great granddaughters; 1 great grandson; 1 great grandchild on the way; 2 brothers, Jim Tichota of Lincoln, NE and Randy Tichota of Lincoln, NE; 2 sisters, Caroline Province of Lincoln, NE and Kathy Rousanne of Fall City, NE; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
