Mark Wayne Vance

Mark Wayne Vance, age 65, resident of Broken Arrow departed this life on Thursday 1, 2021 at the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Mark was born on March 16, 1956 in Independence, Kansas and was the son of Jackie Wayne and Grace Ilene (Mundy) Vance.  He attended school and graduated high school in Independence, Kansas.  Mark proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He married the love of his life, Pamela Lynn McCormick.  He was a manager at Safety-Kleen for many years and retired in 2016.  Mark will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Mark is survived by his wife, Pam Vance of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three children, Christopher Vance and wife Shoua, Melissa Skipper and husband Jay, and Amelia Vance; eight grandchildren, Christopher Vance, Ethan Vance, Micah Brown, Lauren Skipper, Breanna Skipper, Madison Skipper, Ali Byrd, and Zane Byrd; two great grandchildren, Samara Vance and Serenity Vance; and numerous other relatives, and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie Wayne and Grace Ilene Vance.

Mark’s wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
