Mark E Ballard

Reverend Mark E. Ballard, 69, was born on April 21, 1947 in Southern California to Georgetta Lorraine Waldrop Ulrich and Curtis "Buck" Ballard. Mark attended Lynwood High School in Lynwood, California and graduated from Compton Junior College and Life Bible College in Los Angeles, California. Mark was a recording artist with Lorraine and the Jubilee six, collegiate player of water polo and tennis, California State Amateur tennis champion in the doubles category, President of Life Bible college East in Christiansburg, Virginia, pastor of numerous churches and a ten year employee at UPS. Although Mark was an avid surfer, tennis player, swimmer, golfer and recipient of many awards, the most important to him was his love for Jesus Christ. Beloved by his family, members of his various church congregations, and students of the college where he was President, many came to know Jesus Christ as their Savior through his ministry. Mark Ballard passed to heaven on May 4, 2016 from cancer at Hillcrest Hospital. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, stepdad: Robert B.
