Marie Idell Mcclure

Marie Idell McClure, age 64, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday afternoon, January 27, 2022 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 8, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Viola Mae Easley. Marie attended Broken Arrow Public Schools. She married the love of her life, Roger Dale McClure on March 10, 1973. She was a homemaker and babysitter for many children for 25 years. Marie was a volunteer at the Coweta Oddfellows Lodge. She enjoyed Saturday bingo, going to the casino, taking many vacations with her family, and watching the Tulsa Drillers baseball. Marie will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Marie is survived by her husband, Roger McClure of the home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her son, Rodney McClure and his wife Mandy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her daughter, Kristi McClure of Coweta, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Felicia McClure of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brittney Schaefer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Tyler Kirkpatrick of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her brothers, Jerry Clausing and wife Joanna of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bill R. Reyburn of Yucca, Arizona; her sisters, Betty Neumeyer and her husband John of Council Hill, Oklahoma, Cindy Garrett and her husband Larry of Council Hill, Oklahoma, and Val Austin and her husband Tim of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives, and friends.

Marie was preceded by her mother, Viola Mae Hamilton.

A memorial service celebrating Marie’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
