Maria C. Farr

Maria C. Farr of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on November 29, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born on June 23, 1954 to Antonio G. and Beatriz T. (Tayag) Carrion in Manila, Philippines. Maria was a graduate of Makati Medical College of Nursing in Manila, Philippines. Her class was the first graduating class of the college. She practiced most of her medical career as an ICU nurse. Maria married William L. “Bill” Farr on August 10, 1998.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Farr of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; stepsons, Mitch Farr and Matt Farr; four grandchildren; brother, Dr. Romy Carrion of Long Island, New York; sisters, Mary Lou Placino of Sachse, Texas, Lyd Reyes of Odessa, Texas, Ate Thel of San Antonio, Texas, Ate June of New York, New York, Chotee Ochoa of Seattle, Washington; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
