Margaret Mae Woodward of Coweta, age 77, a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, passed away Saturday evening, November 26, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Margaret was born on September 6, 1934 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of Jay and Lurline (Hester) Potter. She was a long time resident of Coweta and she attended Coweta Public Schools. In 1950, Margaret married Charles Wayne Woodward in Van Buren, AR and he preceded her in death in 1987. Margaret worked in food service at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa for 17 years until she retired. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta. Margaret enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, traveling, and most of all she loved spending time with her family. Margaret is lovingly survived by her three children, Michael Woodward and his wife, Debbie, Sherry Replogle and her husband, Ralph, and Roger Woodward and his companion, Karen, all of Coweta; one sister, Darlene Wilson of Coweta and her late husband, Loyd Wilson; three brothers, Jay Potter and his former wife, Patti Potter, Raymond Potter and his wife, Barbara, and Terry Potter and his wife, Joyce, all of Coweta; seven grandchildren, Michael Woodward, Michelle Ford, Nicholas Woodward, Ryan Woodward, Aaron Replogle, Corey Woodward and Jordan Woodward; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Betty Denton and one brother, Oren Potter. The family will be present at a visitation on Tuesday evening, November 29, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. The family of Margaret Mae Woodward entrusted her care and service to Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home, 210 S. Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429, 918-486-5515.
