Marcella Lee Smith Martin, 78, of Coweta, Okla., passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Marcella “Marcie” was born April 22, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to George Robert Smith and Roberta Helen Jones Smith. Marcie loved spending time with her family. Always beautiful, she took pride in making sure that her hair was fixed and makeup on every day.  She was an amazing cook, always making sure homemade meals and desserts were ready for her kids and grandkids. In her younger years, Marcie enjoyed being on the dance floor and listening to her son play and sing country outlaw music. Marcie crocheted countless afghans, placements and coasters for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, stepdaughter Tena Martin and granddaughter Cheyenne Land.

Survivors include two sons, John Martin of Rockport, Texas and Tony Lemons of Oklahoma; a daughter, Brenda Land of Coweta, Oklahoma; a stepdaughter Lisa Martin of Amarillo, Texas; grandsons, Rebel Martin and Jasper Martin both of Coweta, Oklahoma, Chance Martin of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Kristopher Land of Hobbs, New Mexico, Jason Coffey and Jake Coffey both of Wichita Kansas; granddaughter Amanda Coffey of Wichita, Kansas; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
