Mable Louise Victory, age 91, longtime resident of Broken Arrow went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday evening, January 21, 2018 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK surrounded by her family. She was born on July 30, 1926 to Jesse G. and Ruth Ellen (Dilbeck) Jackson in Bengal, OK. Mable married the love of her life, Vernon G. Victory on April 21, 1945 in Coweta, OK and he preceded her in death in 1993. In the earlier years of her life, she waited tables at restaurants and then decided to become a homemaker, so she could raise her children and take care of her family. Mable was a faithful member of the Coweta Nazarene Church, where she was involved in missions and Bible teaching. She enjoyed gospel music, writing, playing cards with sisters, crocheting and spending time with her family. Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Victory, her parents, Jesse and Ruth Jackson, 2 sons, Jerry Victory and Wayne Victory, 9 siblings, Barbara, Viola, Millie, Jewel, Estha, Edwin, Ray, Euell and Floyd, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Inis Victory, 1 brother-in-law, Bobby Victory and 1 sister-in-law, Mildred Goodell. Mable is survived by 7 children, Terry Victory and wife, Helana of Broken Arrow, OK, Louise Mashburn and husband, Rick of Broken Arrow, OK, Debbie Victory of Broken Arrow, OK, James Victory and wife, Loretta of Coweta, OK, Sandra Dame and husband, Greg of Corpus Christi, TX, Vernon Victory, Jr. and wife, Kaara of Broken Arrow, OK and Roy Victory and wife, Amy of Owasso, OK; 1 brother, William "Bill" Jackson and wife, Bobbie of Kinta, OK; 16 grandchildren, Gary, Larry L., Stacey, Jerri, Larry, Chris, Amy, Tammy, Timothy, John, Laura, Pierce, Brandon, Jordan, Aidan and Lauren; 13 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, James, Leslie, Jacob, Christine, Brittany, Logan, Jerry, Kayla, Cadence, Kimberly, Jason and Alexis; 1 brother-in-law, Belvin Victory and wife, Joyce of Skiatook, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Mable's life will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Gerald Burch officiating.
