Lucinda Jane Wilson

Lucinda Jane Wilson of Coweta, OK, age 86, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Eastgate Village Healthcare Center in Muskogee, OK. Jane was born on July 17, 1927 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of Clarence and Letha (Wheeler) Coday. She was a graduate of Coweta High School. Jane and Roy O. Wilson were married on November 1, 1952 in Bentonville, AR and he preceded her in death on October 7, 1994. She worked at Spartan and Douglas Aircraft as a factory worker. She also owned and operated Wilson's Lucky Seven Bait & Tackle Shop in Gore, OK. Jane was a member of Primitive Baptist Church in Gore, OK. She enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling and antiques. Jane is survived by her two sons, Terry Wilson & wife, Elizabeth, of Beggs, OK and Lark Wilson & wife, Susan, of Porum, OK; one sister, Clara Childress of Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren, Terri Michelle Wilson, Michael Wilson, Marcie Wilson, Paula Heyward & husband, David, Tyler Wilson and Brittany Wilson; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services for Jane are scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Carl Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Stanley Brown, Phillip Sinor, Jeff Brown, Gary Wilcox, Mark Bullard and Tyler Wilson.
