Lucinda Louise "Cindy" New

Lucinda Louise "Cindy" New, age 67, Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, January 12, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK surrounded by her family. Cindy was born February 27, 1952 in Madison, IL and was the daughter of William Preston Eddy and Velma Louise (Koonce) Anderson. She was a 1969 graduate of Webster High School in Tulsa, OK. Cindy was an Apartment Supervisor for Dream Real Estate for 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coweta. She helped raise her grandchildren and she loved spending time with them. Cindy dearly loved her family and friends. She was loved by everyone and will forever live on in our hearts. Cindy is survived by her two sons, Marvin Lee Newell, Jr. of Coweta OK and Daniel Preston Lavender, Sr. and wife Angela of Coweta, OK; her daughter, Billie Ann Jones-Tubbs and husband Billy of Shawnee, OK; twelve grandchildren, Michael, Cheyenne, Alyssa, Daniel, Danielle, Lexis, Mackenzie, Jackson, Tiara, Jaela, Dara, and Andraya; four great grandchildren, Landen, Raiden, Alex, and Hudson; one sister, Doris Randall and husband Jess of Coweta, OK; one brother, Bill G. Eddy and wife Carolyn of Owasso, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, George Hall; her parents, William Preston Eddy and Velma Louise Anderson; her son, Scott Allen Lavender; her daughter, Stephanie Newell; three sisters, Mary Reta Eddy, Donna Settlemier, and Hazel Bargas; and one brother, Bradley Eddy, Sr. A memorial service celebrating Cindy's life will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev.
