Lucille Wilder

Margaret Lucille Wilder, age 81, longtime resident of Coweta passed from this life on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born on February 8, 1928 in Coweta, OK to Henry and Geneva (Mullins) Edwards. Lucille attended Coweta High School until the 9th grade. She and Jack Wilder were united in marriage on August 28, 1961 in Muskogee, OK. Lucille was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member at Lone Star Baptist Church in Coweta. Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Lucille is lovingly survived by her brothers, Leo Higgins and his wife, Martha, of Coweta and Lawrence Edwards of Tulsa; her sister, Marie Reese and her husband, Jim, of Broken Arrow; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Curtis officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery.
