August 11, 2011 Lucial Dowling Hayes, 77, entered eternal life April 13, 2010 in Coweta. He was born November 18, 1932 in Stigler to Johnnie Ward and Charlotte (Shrum) Hays. Lucial served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. A longtime welder, he also worked as a truck driver and bus driver. Lucial was a member of New Bethel Assembly of God in Broken Arrow. A witty, funny man, he enjoyed horses, Country and Western music, and sweets. Lucial was preceded in death by his brothers: Preston, Wesley and Othel Hays; sisters:
Thelma Wagner and Velma Conyers; and great-grandson Matthew Ryan Jackson. He is survived by his loving children: Debbie Rose and her husband Howard of Kingston, TN, Dale Hayes and his wife Peggy of Ten Mile, TN, Delores Hayes of Collinsville, Darla Forbes and her husband Kenneth of Broken Arrow, David Hayes and his wife Connie of Oologah, Jimmy Hayes and his wife Lorrie of Southlake, TX and Tracey Parnell of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother Johnny Hayes and his wife Donna of Haskell; sister Vola Galbraith of Stigler; and special friend Rachel of Coweta.
