Lois Elaine McCombs, age 78, longtime Glenpool resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, September 27, 2020 at Senior Suites in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Lois was born on June 14, 1942 in Julesburg, Colorado to Everett and Lucille (Hansen) Brown. She attended school in Big Springs, Nebraska and was a graduate of Big Springs High School. On July 27, 1962, Lois married the love of her life, Marshall Ray McCombs. She and her husband, Marshall owned and operated HAAG Advertising Service for many years. Lois was a member of United Church of God in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery work, needle point, quilting, traveling, bowling, and listening to country music. Lois was a woman of faith and loved reading her Bible. She also loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Everyone that knew her are all better off for having known her.
Lois is survived by five children, Cindy Seals and husband (David) of Coweta, Oklahoma, Ruth Smith and husband (Jeff) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Christine McCombs of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Marshall McCombs and wife (Melissa) of Melissa, Texas, and Kevin Caskey of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren, David Wayne Seals and wife (Wendy), Damyn Smith, Lindsey Smith, Madison McCombs, Alexis McCombs, Caleb McCombs, Jackson Enderli, and Camilla Enderli; two great grandchildren, Robert Seals and Brooke Seals; two sisters, Louise Hockman and husband (Ernie) of Coffeyville, Kansas and Virginia Cavenah of Rapids City, South Dakota; three brothers, Richard Brown and wife (Dawne) of Big Springs, Nebraska, Clint Brown of Big Springs, Nebraska, and Larry Brown and wife (Gaylene) of Big Springs, Nebraska; one sister-in-law, Donna Brown of Big Springs, Nebraska; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Ray McCombs; her parents, Everett and Lucille Brown; three brothers, Donald Brown, James Brown, and Stan Brown; and one sister, Anne Farrier.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Stan Hopper officiating.
