Lois Isabel Johnson of Coweta, age 78, a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, November 23, 2011 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. She was born on June 22, 1933 in Madisonville, KY to her parents, John and Juanita (Webster) Eades. Lois and Dale Johnson were married on November 20, 1950 in Madisonville, KY and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2009. In 1953, they moved to the Coweta area. Lois worked as news editor at Coweta Times Star for five years. She also worked as secretary at Wagoner County Election Board. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta. Lois loved spending time with her family and she enjoyed visiting with people, writing, eating out, shopping and fishing. Lois is lovingly survived by her son, Lee Johnson and wife, Robette, of Wagoner, OK; her daughter, Lesa Knak and husband, Duane, of Haskell, OK; her three grandchildren, Krissi Morton and husband, Brandon, Ben Johnson and Jennifer Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sister. The family will be present at a visitation on Monday evening, November 28, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. David Jones officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Lee Johnson, Ben Johnson, Duane Knak, Lesa Knak, Krissi Morton, Brandon Morton, Larry Johnson and Hoss Hopping. Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Dill, Jim Banks, Mark Gibson and Mark Johnson. The family of Lois Johnson entrusted her care and services to Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home, 210 S.
